From October 2005 to October 2007 (equating to 2 years and 1 month), Jeff Barcy was Executive Vice President and Managing Director at Hearthstone. He created the Landstone division and assisted in managing an institution of 75 people and 125 active real estate projects nationwide.

He was a Senior Officer at Hearthstone – a large institutional investor in real estate. Hearthstone has $2 billion of assets under management. At the firm, Mr. Barcy transformed a new business from a $150M start-up to a $1 billion fund. Additionally, he completed $500M of investments.

Jeff Barcy’s experience includes three years at Cantor Fitzgerald & Co., where he was a Managing Director. His experience includes over two decades in real estate private equity and on Wall Street.

He raised greater than $20B in capital for homebuilders and developers, REIT’s, private real estate companies via a combination of CMBS deals, senior and subordinated notes, loans, follow-on offerings, IPO’s, and private placements.

Jeff Barcy started his banking career with the office of Donaldson, Lufkin, and Jenrette in 1996. He began as an Associate. He then worked his way up throughout the course of 9 years to become a Director in the firm’s investment banking office.

While at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette he worked on $20 billion of Initial Public Offerings, M&A’s, and equity and monetary debt financings for a broad selection of companies.
